SEE NEW WORLDS
See New Worlds was a comic book produced as part of the Six Cities Design festival and commissioned by Dundee City Council. Six Cities took place over the period of one week throughout various Scottish cities each one showcasing different aspects of design that influence life in that city. This particular book was produced for the Dundee section of the program.
As well as the comic being distributed some of the artwork also featured in a gallery show called Biff Bam Crikey exhibited at the University of Dundee. See New Worlds also received press exposure in the following publications: The Scotsman newspaper, Design Week magazine and The Courier newspaper.
As part of a team of three individuals it was my role to colour all of the background artwork as seen within the comic, due to the quick turn around time of the project this was done in Photoshop. Other members of the team were a character artist and a background artist.
